We start to know the BTS, the K-pop group that breaks all the records of notoriety on social networks. But what does BTS stand for?
BTS, a single name for different meanings
The group BTS was formed in 2013 by the label Big Hit Entertainment. Following auditions and castings, 7 young Korean men talented in rap, singing, and dancing became group BTS members. They are Jimin, V, Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope and Jungkook. In the beginning, the name of the group means the Bangstan Boys or the Bulletproof Boy Scout. The BTS has been a huge success worldwide for a few years now, driven by the many K-pop fans. They won 9 trophies at the MGA 2018 (ceremony in Korea). They performed their hit “Fake Love” with the American singer Charlie Puth, who is currently successful with his album “Voicenotes”.
BTS: Beyond The Scene
The group BTS distinguishes itself by very western pop and hip-hop styles. The ultra-stylish singers, with coloured hair, take care of their choreographies. In their latest clip, “Idol”, in collaboration with the rapper Nicki Minaj, we can discover their colourful and playful universe and their dancing talent. In 2017, a new slogan was announced: Beyond The Scene. The group thus sports a new, more international meaning, conducive to making K-pop fans around the world succumb!
